1. Introduction
1.1 The terms and conditions set out in this document are subject to revision by the updating this page, it is recommended that you read them even if you have purchased from us before.
1.2 Definitions:
1.2a “The Company” means Bristol Stair & Joinery Co.
1.2b “The Buyer” means any person, firm or company to whom goods are supplied by the company.
1.2c “The Goods” means goods, materials and accessories supplied by the company to the buyer.

2. Ordering
2.1 You are deemed to have placed an order with us by ordering though our online checkout system.
2.2 An email confirmation will be sent to the address supplied, confirming your order.
2.3 Telephone orders can be placed over the telephone by calling us on 0117 929 2061.
2.4 Our acceptance of an order is deemed to be when we dispatch the order.
2.5 We will send you a dispatch email when the goods have been shipped to you.
2.6 The purchase contract will be made on dispatch of goods, even if payment has been taken immediately.
2.7 We may refuse an order, if goods are no longer available, payment has not been made or there is a description / pricing error.

3. Delivery
3.1  For our purposes the Mainland UK includes England, Scotland, Wales.
3.2 For the highlands of Scotland and Northern Ireland and additional charge for delivery is made.
3.3 Items are placed on a next day delivery service to England, lowlands of Scotland and Wales.
3.4 Items to be delivered to the highlands of Scotland, Isle of White and Northern Ireland are placed on a 3 day service.
3.5 Items will be dispatched same day if the order is received before 11am and the requested item/s are in stock.
3.6 Please allow a maximum of 5 working days for delivery of your goods.
3.7 The Company shall not be held liable in any way for any direct or indirect loss, damage or expenses (including but not limited to loss of profit and liability to third parties) suffered or incurred by the Buyer as a consequence of any delay in delivery.
3.8 Please check all parcels are present and intact on delivery before signing. Items cannot be replaced if a parcel is missing which you have signed for.
3.9 If you are unsure about any item, sign receipt as damaged and contact the Company on 0117 929 2061 with 48 hours.
3.10 If all parcels are present and correct and no damage has been signed for, the Buyer has 7 days to inspect the Goods for damage or shortage in quantity and notify the Company on 0117 929 2061.
3.11 Force Majeure. The company shall not be liable for failure to deliver the goods for any reason whatsoever outside the reasonable control of the company including, without limitation to the generality of the forgoing, Industrial action, war, storm, fire, explosion, flood, governmental action or regulation, act of God, riots, strikes, lock-outs or non availability of stocks or materials. Any such failure shall not affect the obligation of the buyer to pay for the goods already ordered to a purpose made specification.

4.0 Cancelation / Returns Policy
4.1 If you wish to cancel your order:
(a) You can notify us by email at [email protected] or telephone on 0117 929 2061 before we have dispatched  the goods to you.
(b) Cancelled orders that have been dispatched will incur a 10% re-stocking fee and your delivery charge will not be refunded. This includes order that have been returned to us following failure of delivery by the courier.
4.2 You can return goods you have ordered form us in their original condition within 30 days of receipt. We will only accept un-opened goods unless they are faulty. The cost of returning goods shall be borne by the buyer (We recommend a recorded delivery service).
4.3 Items returned to the company from the buyer for refund are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.
4.4 Upon receipt of goods, we will give a refund -10% amount paid if not faulty. We will notify you of receipt and refund by email.
4.5 The right to return goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances:
(a) The product/s has been used.
(b) The product has been customised specifically for you.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
4.6 To ensure a speedy refund please follow these steps:
(a) Give the reason for the item to be returned.
(b) Quote the Invoice number and date the goods were received.
(c) In the case of damage or fault a full description of problem.
(d) Goods should be returned securely in original packaging.
(e) The cost of returning the item is to be paid for by the buyer.

5.0 Pricing
5.1 All prices are quoted ex. VAT and are subject to variation by the company at any time. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we will show VAT separately and show it in the total price.
5.2 Delivery charges are made according to our rates as detailed on our Delivery Details page.
5.3 Our prices are regularly reviewed based on current market conditions.

6. Licence
6.1 You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own use on the following basis:
(a) No documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way;
(b) No graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text; and
(c) Any of our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.
6.2 Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by us or our licensors. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, any use of extracts from this Website other than in accordance with clause 6.1 above for any purpose is prohibited. If you breach any of the terms in these terms and conditions, your permission to use this Website automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from this Website.
6.3 Subject to clause 6.1, no part of this Website may be reproduced or stored in any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without our prior written permission.

7.1 While we endeavour to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
7.2 Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

8.1 Other than personally identifiable information, which is covered under the Privacy Policy, any material you transmit or post to this Website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. We will have no obligations with respect to such material.
